Municipal water treatment plant, Vietnam

Ultrafiltration (UF) based water treatment to supply a municipality near Vinh, Nghe An province, central Vietnam



De.mem designed, supplied and commissioned a Ultrafiltration (UF) membrane based water treatment plant to a local Vietnamese enterprise called Hung Thanh Environmental Co Ltd from Nghe An province in central Vietnam. The water treatment plant provides potable water to a municipality near the city of Vinh, Nghe An province.

The facility is using feed water from a nearby river. De.mem designed and integrated the whole facility. The capacity is up to 4,000 m3 of water produced each day. Commissioning took place during 2015.

Initially, De.mem operated and maintained the plant under a so-called Build, Own, Operate, Transfer (BOOT) scheme. In 2017, De.mem finally sold the facility to the local partner company Hung Thanh Environmental Co Ltd.
