Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) and Ultrafiltration-Reverse Osmosis (UF-RO) systems deployed at a mining site in Australia

De.mem designed, manufactured and commissioned a water treatment and sewage treatment plant for an Australian mining site of a leading global mining corporation. The processes and technologies deployed include two Submerged Membrane Bioreactors (MBR) plus two Ultrafiltration (UF)-Reverse Osmosis (RO) water treatment plants. The systems were provided to the customer containerized, for easy transport to and deployment at the remote location.

While the plant was originally commissioned in 2017, De.mem’s service division has been engaged under a service contract since then, to manage the overall facility. Under the service contract, De.mem sends its qualified water treatment plant operators and technicians to the site, with the support of our qualified process engineers.

De.mem has also been supplying chemicals and consumables required for the ongoing operations of the facilities.
