Build Own Operate Project – Waste Water Treatment for a F&B Client in Singapore

De.mem developed a waste water treatment and recycling system for one of the Singapore factories of a multinational corporation from the food & beverage industry.

The process design was based on the specific requirements and waste water characteristics of the customer. It includes different types of membranes, such as Ultrafiltration and Nanofiltration, as well as certain pre- and post treatment steps to filter out a wide range of contaminants such as oil & grease, solids, small organics and chemicals.

The system was provided to the customer containerized for easy deployment and to save space.

De.mem has managed the entire site under a Build, Own, Operate agreement since 2017. Under the Build, Own, Operate agreement, De.mem not only services (operates & maintains) the site, but also provides all chemicals and consumables required for the daily operations of the plant.

In 2020 and 2022, De.mem signed further Build, Own, Operate contracts related to additional sites of the same customer.
